To our wonderful community, partners, and friends:
Due to an unexpected medical emergency within our leadership team, we have made the difficult decision to hit pause on our upcoming 2026 event schedule.
While we were incredibly excited for this year, our current priority is ensuring everyone is healthy, supported, and fully recovered. To give this situation the focus it requires, we will be shifting our original 2026 plans and schedule entirely to 2027.
We are deeply grateful for your understanding, your patience, and your endless support. We can’t wait to bring these plans to life with you in 2027 when we are back at full strength.
Stay tuned for updates, and thank you for standing by us.
"The Art of Brotherly Love" is a documentary that follows contemporary artist and storyteller Rah Crawford as he uncovers a powerful, untold chapter of American history: the Ganges Incident—the 1800 rescue of 135 enslaved Africans by the USS Ganges in Philadelphia.
What begins as a research thread evolves into "Gangee – A Love Story", Crawford’s original screenplay that reimagines the humanity, resistance, and romanticism buried within this real event. His artistic vision becomes the driving force behind Project Gangee, a multifaceted cultural initiative designed to honor this moment in history through art, storytelling, and engagement.
